17 Syllables of Autumn Competition

Autumn is upon us. For me, the season conjures up the joy of bonfires crackling away on long dark evenings and copper foliage carpeting my stomping grounds. This year, I have been fortunate enough to have written for a book on the season. Autumn, edited by Melissa Harrison, is an anthology of works by writers old and new.

For a chance to win a copy of Autumn, write a haiku for one of my most seasonal photographs, taken in the very woods I wrote about in the book. The entries will be shortlisted by yours truly. The winner will then be chosen by Melissa Harrison, editor of Autumn and author of ‘Rain’ and ‘At Hawthorn Time’.

Simply write your haiku in the comments box at the bottom of the page and cross your fingers.

Good luck!

Alternatively, if you’re not the gambling type, you can buy the book here: Autumn: An Anthology for the Changing Seasons.

    1. Congratulations Edd. You are the winner, selected by Melissa Harrison herself! I doubt the publishers anticipated postage to the Seychelles! Ps. A fantastic title.
