Life in Crystal Palace Park

A new found hangover cure is to wander somewhat aimlessly through Crystal Palace Park searching for something to stare at for a while. I love moorhens with their bright red and yellow beaks, prancing about at the water’s edge, picking through the foliage for a snack. I don’t love the sound Coots make, and I think that side of the afternoon stroll is liable to worsen a hangover. Another thing I like about Crystal Palace Park is the diversity in Pigeon plumage. I took a photograph of a white pigeon with a black tail as I thought it looked quite exotic, then a family started throwing bread around sending the birds into, quite literally a flap and me into retreat.
